Graduation 2021

Morning Ceremony: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Afternoon Ceremony: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Due to the forecast of rain in our area, graduation will be RESCHEDULED to tomorrow’s rain date of Sunday, May 16. The morning and afternoon ceremonies will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. respectively. Thank you for helping us ensure an enjoyable outdoor ceremony for all of our graduates and guests. We appreciate your continued flexibility.

Congratulations to the Class of 2021! Join us as we gather safely in-person and virtually to celebrate this year's senior class. Each building will host two outdoor ceremonies in our stadiums to accommodate graduates and a limited number in-person guests. If you plan to attend and cheer your graduate on in-person, we ask that you please adhere to all necessary safety protocols. Masks will be required of both graduates and guests, and social distancing will be practiced to the extent possible. If you cannot join us in the stands, please stream the event to hear our student speakers and join us in congratulating this distinguished group of graduates!

Graduation Practice:

Graduation practice is Thursday, May 13th at either 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM noon. Students must attend
the graduation practice that corresponds with the time of the ceremony that they select. The rain date
for graduation practice is Friday, May 14, 2021. Each student will receive four event tickets for their guests at graduation practice.

Meet Our Graduation Speakers

Ellie Berg

Ellie Berg is the daughter of Matt and Missy Berg. During her time at Central she participated in volleyball, softball, National Honor Society, Fellow Christian Athletes, Legacy Club, and the Crazies. In the fall she will attend Iowa State University and study business and communications. 

Viviana Galindo

Viviana Galindo is the daughter of Central alumni Nancy and Orlando Galindo. During her time at CLC she participated in Interact Club, National Honor Society, Tiger Mentors, Girls Lacrosse and the Page Turners Club. In the summer, she will attend Purdue University and take part in the Emerging Leaders Scholars Program while studying biology on a pre-med track.


Jordyn St. John

Jordyn St. John is the daughter of Michelle and Daniel St.John. During her time at Central she participated in choir, Madrigal singers, choral board, and tiger buddies. In the fall she will attend Union University and study Worship Leadership with a minor in family studies.

Quinn Welder

Quinn Welder is the son of Angela and Bryan Welder. During his time at Central he participated in choir, theater, band, and national honor society. In the fall, he will attend Vanderbilt University and study vocal performance.

Colin Hehn
Master of Ceremonies

Colin is the son of Anton and Linda Hehn. During his time at CLC, he was involved in Boys Lacrosse, National Honors Society, Student Council, Senior Mentors, and Computer Club. In the fall, he will attend The University of Iowa Honors Program and study Computer Science & Business Administration.


Ellie Pierzina
Master of Ceremonies

Ellie is the daughter of Cynara and Todd Pierzina. During her time at CLC, she was involved in band, choir, Madrigals, musicals, and jazz band. In the fall, she will attend the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign where she will major in music education and journalism.
